Phase 2B
Cala is delighted to present proposals for Phase 2B of the wider Kings Barton community in Winchester. Phase 2B will bring:
- A beautifully designed collection of circa 200 new homes, including affordable homes
- New public open space
- New sports pitches
- A bespoke Park & Ride
The comprehensive plans, set to comprise the heart of Kings Barton, will deliver promised homes and amenities and mark an exciting step in the formation of a cohesive community and forms the final reserved matters application required to deliver planning permission for the full length of the new Winchester Avenue.
Designs for Phase 2B have been informed by the site’s history and years of dedicated review, including public consultations and engagement with council officers and the Design Review Panel. It has also been informed by the Design Code as agreed at outline stage.
We have taken a holistic, landscape-led approach to the master plan, utilising the topography and landscape features of the area to create a distinct sense of place and have been guided by the opportunities to create sustainable movement, biodiversity, and support local heritage.
